Acute & Critical Care -CNA- (Regular Part time)

Implements and Maintains patient care activities specific to the age and needs of the patient population served in the Acute Medical/Surgical Unit. S/he ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. S/he demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
Schedule: Regular part time- 2/12 hr per week

Required Skills:
1. Skills related to Certified Nursing Assistant Scope of Practice, Idaho State Nursing Board.
2. Ability to become competent in electronic medical record and associated applications.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum Work Experience:
1. One year of experience in a health care setting preferred.
Minimum Education:
1. Certification: Possession of Nursing Assistant Certification and listed on the Idaho State Nurse Aide Registry.
2. Healthcare provider BLS within one year of hire.
